Zelda and Studio Ghibli-inspired Bura: The Way the Wind Blows confirmed for Switch
Bura: The Way the Wind Blows, a new game that takes inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Studio Ghibli, is bound for Switch.
Tiny Meow Studio recently opened a Kickstarter campaign where it’s seen success. After reaching $20,000 through crowdfunding, the game was fully funded – and a Switch version was confirmed as well.
According to the game’s description, “Bura: The Way the Wind Blows is a cozy adventure game about growing up and connecting with the world around you.” The story involves experiencing different periods of life, from childhood to old age. Players will explore nature, roam among the spirits of Mediterranean old-folk tales, customize their character, and more.
Here’s the project’s official overview:
Play at your own pace, explore freely while enjoying small details of Mediterranean nature. Traverse land, sea and sky, and collect the memories along the way.
Feel the hot summer day, breathe in fresh smell of the pine trees, jump into crystal clear sea. Notice the small details around you and learn to just live in the moment.
Spirits inspired by old Croatian folk tales are all around you, can you find them all? Learn about them and unravel their secrets.
Learn Croatian and Mediterranean legends first-hand from the creatures that inhabit them and discover lost cultural monuments and traditions.
