Crazy Justice to support cross-platform play

Posted on October 13, 2017 by (@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop

This year, we’ve started to hear about a few Switch games that will support cross-platform play. Rocket League and Minecraft are just a couple of titles that intend to incorporate the functionality. Cross-play allows for Switch, Xbox One, and PC users to play online together.

You can add the shooter Crazy Justice to the lineup of games that will be integrating cross-play. Black Riddle Studios shared the news on Twitter with a brief video, which we have below.

It is bizarre to live in a world were Nintendo is fine with cross-play but Sony don’t.

Nintendo has always been fine with it. Sony tried it once and never again

Back in the 7th gen, Sony was keen for crossplay between PS3 and X360, but the story goes, because MS was leading in sales, MS wasn’t interested. Now the rolls are reversed, Sony leads in sales, so they are not interested in crossplay anymore, except in this case MS and Nintendo have already taken the steps to actually make it happen.

Then you got Sony’s “shady deals” (whether they’re true or not, I don’t know) with multiple games, the bigger rumoured ones being the likes of MH World and messing the potential Switch and X1 release of FFXIV, which SE want crossplay for. A lot of devs and gamers alike aren’t happy about Sony’s refusal to support crossplay and their lame excuses.

Motion control support AND cross play?

You now have my FULL attention.

Yes! it looks a lot like Fortnite, but honestly the fact that this is on Switch and it has cross-play makes it more appealing to me.
