Honestly Famitsu scores mean nothing, but Yooo nice looking perfect scores for Dragon Quest XI!

Not even surprised by DQXI’s score.

Only makes me want DQXI even more…

  • Richieeeee

They have given 39/40 or 40/40 to pretty much every DQ game ever made and most aren’t even that good. In fact, DQ8 is the only decent game in this entire series.

Well, that’s just your subjective opinion. Not that it really matters.

It’s mine as well, dragon quest gets the same treatment in Japan as Zelda does here. Overrated at debut, if the game was a different franchise it’s score would be different.

Uh no. Dragon Quest is anything but overrated. Sure, its the most loved RPG in Japan but the franchise has been consistently good after every sequel. Many of the Dragon Quest games didn’t see the light of day in the West in the consoles they were originally released in. It was only after DQ8 and their remakes on the 3DS when the franchise was reintroduced to the West. It didn’t have much exposure like Zelda did. The Zelda franchise however has been a hit or miss after Ocarina of Time. I’m not saying there were bad Zelda games but some just quite didn’t live up to their name.

Right… That wasn’t even a subjective opinion. The sales says much and some of the later Zelda games did averagely well or were quite unmemorable. Four Swords Adventure, Minish Cap, and Tri-Force Heroes ring a bell?

You don’t understand the irony of the statement he was using, do you?

          • Joost Meulemeesters

I could repeat what I said before if you like. Would you like that? But you seem like a very passive aggressive feller over these video games and I don’t think you understood me correctly in the first place anyway so… you’re kinda amusing though!

    XI actually has 80/80

    • Eagle367

      Soon to be 120/120

Not if they fail to do their technical adjustments they described the other day.
