Pokken Tournament DX has reversible cover art in both North America and Europe

Switch game cases can occasionally look a tad bland, but that won’t be the case with Pokken Tournament DX. Nintendo has included reversible cover art, pictured above. It’s available in both North America and Europe so that no one has to miss out on the neat design.

I was holding off on buying this before now because I already got it on Wii U. This is tempting though…

    what about Japan?

Also, that box cover looks sweet.

OH MY GOD, I LOVE IT. So cool they offer alternative covers, such a good selling point! My copy should be at the house by the end of my workday tomorrow! 🙂 HYPE

However, I would’ve liked a spoiler alert on the announcement as it would’ve been a cool thing to see upon opening the case myself.

You want a spoiler tag for a reversible game cover? Now I’ve seen it all.

I saw a comment from some guy who said he got banned from miiverse after he drew a picture of the boxart for MH4, and someone tagged it as spoilers.

I’m planning on averting my eyes to everything before Metroid Prime 4 is released. I want it all to be fresh and mind blowing the whole way through, it’s such a great feeling. That’s the stuff you remember years later, the rush of excitement at the moment of discovery.

I don’t recall seeing the alternate art on Nintendo Switch Facebook page prior to seeing the reverse cover art on the Nintendo Everything site, either way I say it should be considered a spoiler. It’s a reveal to the public Nintendo kept hidden (Easter Egg), and not everyone wants to see all content before a final product is released. I like to see images with my own eyes once in a while art related not through a computer screen.

It’s not even a reversible cover, Mewtwo goes on the back when you switch it. It’s just art for the inside.

My comment still stands regardless. I don’t want to see things Nintendo or any other developer shows through an online reveal. If it’s meant to be a surprise the developer has chosen not to post themselves. I want it to be labeled as a spoiler before a fan/news site posts the content.

            Good luck with that.

Is is really a reversible cover? Seems like Mewtwo would be on the back of the case which would make reversing pointless.
