Nintendo formally announces Zelda Wii (releasing next year)

Nintendo has just unveiled their brand new Zelda title for Wii at their E3 2010 press conference. This title will be the first true entry on the console as Twilight Princess was ported over from the GameCube. As previously noted by Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma, the title will heavily support Wii MotionPlus.

– Called Skyward Sword
– Cell-shaded/realistic mix of graphics
– Adult Link
– MotionPlus support
– MotionPlus for items
– Press B button to choose item
– Spin attack
– Some enemies protect themselves against attack, need to hit them the right way
– Use bombs in different ways
– New beetle item
– Whip in the game
– Easy to switch between items
– Releasing next year
