Switch is back at GameStop stores today
Switch units are available for purchase at GameStop stores once again as of today, the retailer has announced. Nintendo delivered “a limited supply” just ahead of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s launch on Friday. Customers are advised to contact their store for availability and more details.
GameStop is selling Switch for the standard $299.99 price – no bundles are being forced upon consumers thankfully.
Eric Bright, senior director of merchandising for GameStop, said:
“It’s perfect timing to have additional Nintendo Switch units arrive just days before the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, one of the biggest and most loved games from Nintendo. This is truly an amazing pairing of the latest in Nintendo technology innovation with a classic, iconic game.”
“If Nintendo Switch and/or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is on a customer’s gaming wish list, I would strongly suggest they plan to come to our stores as soon as they can. These products will not last through the weekend!”
GameStop is offering up to a $200 credit when a customer trades in a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, New 3DS, or Wii U (32GB) towards the purchase of a Nintendo Switch. The offer lasts through Sunday.
