Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition features co-op play, new marriageable candidate, more

Natsume and Rising Star Games have pulled back the curtain on the features of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition on Switch.

First, Soleil will act as a new character in the game. Soleil is a Gem Sprite whose origin is shrouded in mystery and is unfamiliar with the world outside of the dark caverns.

Soleil will also guide players through the new co-op play feature. A second player will be able to control the character and help out on the farm using Gem Sprite magic. Soleil can grow crops, tend livestock, and gather materials.

Soleil is be a marriageable candidate as well. The character can take on a human form when Soleil develops feelings for the main character.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition will offer a season pass containing four pieces of planned DLC. The extra content is “designed to enhance and offer more of a unique Harvest Moon gameplay experience”.

Lastly, in Europe, the Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Collector’s Edition will be sold. It includes all of the content of the Special Edition, along with the season pass, a hot drinks mug, a tote bag, and a selection of pin badges in a barn-shaped presentation case.
