Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed shipment numbers for the 3DS today, and it looks like Japan will be receiving most of the inventory. 1.5 million units will be shipped to Japan before the end of March. The rest of the world will have to share the remaining 2.5 million units. At the moment, further figures have yet to be announced, so it is unclear how many systems will be available in U.S., Europe, Australia, and other territories.
