MetaChampions update out now
Earlier this month, MetaChampions received its first patch on Switch. Highlights include improved controls, updated UI, smarter A.I, and enhanced visuals.

* Fixed controller lag
* Fixed session search cancellation with a B button
* Fixed critical bug while selecting an enemy unit on the battlefield
* Fixed the way the board looks on the clients during online games
* The selected cell no longer moves to the right when you choose a unit with a controller
* Fixed the way time is displayed on the upper bar
* Fixed the money calculation formula for the results screen and the upper bar
* Fixed targeting logic for units
* Fixed image preview for several units
* Cosmetic fixes for battle and match results screens
* Fixed the way victory/loss states are displayed on the reward screen after fighting neutral enemies
* Battle session stats screen can now be closed with a touchscreen by pressing Back
* Battle session settings screen can now be closed with a touchscreen by pressing Back
* Fixed the way units’ status bar looks
* Fixed the way synergy hints look
* Fixed connection error with Nintendo services
* Fixed the constant game restart error that stopped some players from starting the tutorialUpdate:
* Preparation time between battle phases is now extended
* Faster navigation with D-Pad and Sticks
* Increased unit selling speed (x5) with the press and hold Y button (was 2 seconds, now 0.4 seconds)
* A lot of visual effects are now revamped. And when we say a lot, we mean all of them!
* Revamped attack animation
* Revamped graffiti
* Improved client and server performance
* Improved graphics quality! The changes affect both dock mode and handheld
* Revamped some UI animations
* Our bots are now a little bit smarterNew:
* The player can now place units right after the end of a battle, without waiting for other players to finish
* We now reward the player for the battle right after its end, without waiting for other players to finish
* Added board state visualization
* The game can now be paused in offline sessions
* The units are now bought automatically for the first three rounds in case the players don’t buy them by themselves
* The units are now placed on the board automatically for the first three rounds in case the players don’t place themBalance:
* Wraith’s ultimate ability takes less time now
* Evasion alliance now grants 20%/30%/50% to the base evasion stat instead of 25%/50%/75%
* Evasion is effective only against physical attacks now
