Perhaps Dengeki Nintendo and CoroCoro were teasing Super Pokemon Scramble, a game announced for the 3DS earlier today. It’s a sequel of sorts to the WiiWare title that made it on to WiiWare back in 2009. Umbrella is handling development once again.

The heart of the gameplay will involve making use of Pokemon toys to battle enemies. It’ll support SpotPass, a local wireless multiplayer feature, and 3D visuals.

Surprisingly, Super Pokemon Scramble is just around the corner. The title will launch in Japan on July 28 for ¥4,800.
