Pokemon Masters EX earns $75 million in first year, had 22.7 million downloads

Sensor Tower is reporting that Pokemon Masters EX managed to bring in $75 million from player spending in its first year. With that amount, it’s the second highest grossing Pokemon title on mobile – only behind Pokemon GO.

Here’s a further breakdown on the game’s first year:

– Pokemon Masters ranked #13 globally for player spending in the Squad RPG subgenre during its first year, sandwiched between Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and King’s Raid
– Ranked #2 globally for downloads, just behind RAID: Shadow Legends
– Japan was the top market for player spending, generating $39.3 million, or 52.7 percent of total revenue
– The United States followed in #2 with $17.5 million, or 23.5 percent
– Hong Kong ranked #3 with $3.2 million, or 4.3 percent
– App Store: $45.4 million or 61 percent of all revenue
– Google Play: $29.2 million or 39 percent
– 22.7 million downloads in its first year
– The U.S. ranked #1 in downloads with 4.8 million installs, or 21 percent of the total
– India ranked #2 with 3 million, or 13.2 percent
– Japan was #3 with 2.6 million or 11.5 percent
– Google Play came out on top for downloads share, picking up 12.1 million downloads, or 53 percent of total installs
– The App Store accounted for 10.6 million or 47 percent
