Capcom held a panel for Resident Evil during Comic-Con last week. Unsurprisingly, Revelations was one of the topics discussed at the event. Below are some details from the panel…
– New element: Environmental hazards
– Have to face underwater sections
– These sections were a scrapped idea from Resident Evil 5
– Swim under the water will full 360 degree control
– Use a light to brighten the sea
– Special underwater weapons available to obtain individually
– Jill and Parker wear diver gear when they’re in the water
– Might be able to upgrade air time
– Large and deadly sea monsters
– Chris and Jessica may have their own environmental hazards to deal with (possibly cold and freezing)
– Masked man at the end of the E3 trailer plays a big role in the story
– Popular enemies will return
– Special throw out to Zombies (not out of the game)
– Zombies may have a new form
– Wesker might be in either/both Revelations and/or Raccoon City
