MotoGP 22 is the next game in the MotoGP series, focusing on realistic two-wheel racing. This game in particular covers the entirety of the 2022 MotoGP season, with over 120 official drivers and 20 circuits. It’ll also feature the return of over 70 Historic Riders and bikes that call back to past MotoGP events.
The game improves upon the simulation aspect of the series with a bunch of improvements, including more realistic tire deformation, tire and brake temperatures, an improved suspension system, enhanced tracks, a more customizable Ride Height Device and better visuals and character animations overall. It’ll also feature of local split-screen multiplayer.
Mode-wise, the Managerial Career is back, letting players create their own team or join a real one and manage bike development, staff and more. It’ll also add a brand-new mode, (NINE) Season 2009, allowing players to relive the 2009 MotoGP season and play some of its most iconic moments through dedicated challenges. On top of that, players will also have access to a docu-film narrated by Mark Neale, with over 50 minutes of original footage from the 2009 Season.
For newcomers unfamiliar with the series, a few additions have been made to help ease them into the game. Chief among these are a revised tutorial and MotoGP Academy, to help players familiarize themselves with mechanics and systems. An adaptive difficulty system is also included that will suggest tutorials, recommend lowering difficulty and more based on your performance in the race, with all these hints and tips being fully optional to follow.
