Splatterhouse is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster is putting Splatterhouse on Switch as the latest Arcade Archives game, the company just announced. A release is planned for June 22, 2023.

Splatterhouse, which was made by Namco, is a beat ’em up title. It first came out in Japan in 1988 with the western release happening a year later.

Splatterhouse has players taking on the role of Rick, a parapsychology college major who is trapped inside West Mansion. Rick is revived by the Terror Mask and fights off different creatures while looking to save his girlfriend Jennifer.
