Pokemon Scarlet and Violet getting Mewtwo Tera Raid Battle
Original (8/7): Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are set to receive a new Mewtwo Tera Raid Battle event, according to a Thai Japanese Nintendo newsletter. Details are likely to follow during tomorrow’s Pokemon Presents.
With the Tera Raid Battles, players can work together with three others to take on a powerful Pokemon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokemon found these events often vary. Additionally, Pokemon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type. You can get involved with the Tera Raid Battle events by downloading the latest Poke Portal News, which will happen automatically if your Switch system is connected online (Nintendo Switch Online subscription not required). It can also be accessed manually by choosing Poke Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, and lastly Check Poke Portal News.
Specifics about when the event will go live have not been shared. However, it’s thought that it could begin as early as tomorrow. This post will be updated with more details as they become available.

Update (8/8): The event has now been officially announced. Mewtwo can be taken on between September 1 and September 17. Players can also claim Mew with the code GETY0URMEW.
