“This has been a standout year for No More Heroes and Rising Star Games,” said Martin Defries, Rising Star Games managing director. “We’ve had fantastic critical reception for NMH from the start; to be nominated in so many categories and place in the top ten in many polls proves how well a third party title can do on the Wii if you get it right. We’re all really excited to see the next step up in NMH2!”

Tempering this good news slightly, Mr. Defries goes on to address an outstanding issue for another Rising Star Games release:

“Unfortunately Rising Star Games has had to temporarily remove ‘Harvest Fishing’ DS from our new title release schedule. The Japanese development studio has struggled to fix the required Nintendo Wi-Fi features with the latest code submission and needs further time to resolve these issues. We are optimistic that the next submission of the game will be successful and that the game will be released in the next few months. However, to avoid further disappointment it is best not to announce, yet another, suggested release date; instead we will wait for successful approval of game code and then fix a secure release date.

“We appreciate your patience with the extraordinary delays to this title.”
