Splatoon 3 Undertow Spillway stage temporarily closed

Nintendo has reworked a number of stages in Splatoon 3, and it looks like Undertow Spillway is next on the docket. The level just went offline tonight.

On social media, the Splatoon series account said the downtime is for “inspections and expansion work.” It added: “For safety reasons, access will be closed during this period so we appreciate your patience.”

We’ve seen this happen a few times in the past. For instance, Mincemeat Metalworks temporarily went offline at the start of the year. It returned soon after following a renovation and a number of different changes were made.

The Undertow Spillway stage for Splatoon 3 will be available again on April 17 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET.
