Donkey Kong Country icons added to Nintendo Switch Online

A new retro game is now being featured on Nintendo Switch Online, and subscribers can pick up icons based on Donkey Kong Country.

Seven icons are being distributed, and each one is a character. You can claim designs for Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, and more.

Aside from an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, there are a couple of other requirements as well. First, you’ll need to have played the game on the SNES app (which can be done in just a couple of seconds). You’ll also need to be a My Nintendo member as each icon costs 10 Platinum Points. Note that you’ll get 50 Platinum Points just by playing the game on the app.

The Donkey Kong Country icons on Nintendo Switch Online will be distributed until September 2. A new retro game should be swapped in after that.
