Roguelike action shooter DownFall hitting Switch next week

CFK has announced that DownFall, which is made by Rawhand Games, will be appearing on Switch next week. It’s planned for September 12, 2024.

DownFall is a roguelike action shooter. Players will fight back with style against endless waves of enemies in order to develop their character.

Here’s an overview of the game:

DownFall was developed as a sort of roguelike hack-and-slash when players must blast their way through endless waves of enemies with their stylish attacks to develop their characters. The goal of the game is to create a unique build by collecting various skills and relics, then upgrading the protagonist and making him more powerful by enhancing acquired items or synthesizing new ones.

Faust, the protagonist, had a successful life due to his dealings with the devil, but now he suffers from terrible dreams each night. To find what lies at the end of those dreams—to end it all—he decides to plunge into those nightmares and face the monsters that lie within…
