It’s Dorrie side quest guide for Mario & Luigi Brothership
Today, we’re looking at It’s Dorrie, the third missable side quest in Mario & Luigi Brothership. This follows Arc’s Secret and Zokket’s Schemes, the first two missable side quests that become unavailable after you advance the story. This third side quest is available just before clearing the second Great Lighthouse, which comes roughly 12 hours into the game or so. If you’re not at that point and want to avoid story spoilers, it may be best to bookmark this page and come back once you start hearing about the second Great Lighthouse.
It’s Dorrie side quest guide
After you clear Lottacoins Island and its associated boss battle, you’ll return to Shipshape Island. Once there, you can talk to Peach and the IDLE group and watch the scene that plays out. After that, speak to Technikki and Peach will notice something at the beach. Follow her to begin the It’s Dorrie side quest. This is actually the second time Dorrie has appeared in a Mario RPG (other than Mario & Rabbids) and the first time she has appeared in a Mario & Luigi title. She is actually injured, and you’ll need to head back to Desolatt Island to get some Bond Ore. Once there, you’ll talk to a greedy shopkeeper who is immediately kidnapped by a Snaptor. IDLE will appear and chase it away, leading you to have to battle it. Afterwards, the shopkeeper will give you the Bond Ore you need. To complete the It’s Dorrie side quest, head back to Shipshape Island after the cutscene and the Bond Ore will heal Dorrie’s injuries.
This may even be the easiest missable quest in the game, but we figure it’s still good to cover since you are indeed locked out of its rewards (in this case, a free Bros. Hammer) if you don’t clear it in time. We’ll be continuing our coverage on Mario & Luigi: Brothership with more guides on missable side quests and other subjects, too.
