Nintendo announces 2024 Black Friday deals
Black Friday 2024 is almost here (or is already here depending on some retailers), and Nintendo has now offered up a look at some of the deals fans can expect for the holiday season.
First up, beginning November 24, some Nintendo Switch games will be sold at a discount including $20 off the suggested retail price. Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart will have the following:
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – On sale for $49.99
- Super Mario Maker 2, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pikmin 4, the physical edition of Nintendo Switch Sports, Kirby and the Forgotten Land — On sale for $39.99 each
- Super Mario Odyssey and Pikmin 1 + 2 – On sale for $29.99
Along with the above, the Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller will be sold for $20 off. The Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition will also be available for $10 off.
Nintendo says that the eShop and My Nintendo Store will also have deals after November 19 for Black Friday 2024 as well.
Remember that the Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle are also available in stores for $299.99 each, which is essentially $80 in savings. Both come with a digital download of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.
Other than the 2024 Black Friday deals, Nintendo is also highlighting that select Target, Best Buy, and GameStop locations are having in-store events and fans will have a chance to receive giveaways (while supplies last). These are as follows:
- From Nov. 16 – Nov. 17, participating Target locations will be hosting live demos of Super Mario Party Jamboree.
- Enjoy Best Buy Family Fun Day on Dec. 7 with an opportunity to experience Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025.
- On Dec. 14, select GameStop locations will be hosting demos of Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025.
