Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight getting an update in December
Phoenixx and Aquastyle today shared plans about a free update planned for Touhou Genso Wanderer: Foresight. This will be launching on various platforms in December, including Nintendo Switch.
The update will include new content, including additional dungeons. Other content, features, and improvements are also planned.
The full rundown is as follows:
December’s update brings something for players of all skill levels. A series of introductory dungeons offers new dungeoneers a smoother start. Learn the ways of the wanderer in a series of training modules explaining proper positioning, equipment prioritization, and ideal duo partner choices for dungeon-diving escapades.
Expert explorers have new depths to plunder in freshly added challenges requested by the community.
Gensokyo, a Japan-esque region where fantasy and reality merge, suffers under the plague of an unknown enemy. Series protagonist Shrine Maiden Reimu heeds the call to save the city. With the help of 60+ Touhou heroines, brave randomly generated dungeons filled with otherworldly enemies, including fairies, vampires, and supernatural shapeshifters.
Create custom builds with right-hand weapon and left-hand armor combinations. Dish out a variety of offensive options, including melee attacks, bullet-hell blasts, and 20 different screen-clearing spell cards.
Search for supplies during every run and ration out rice balls to maintain the party’s power levels. Keep an eye on Reimu’s stamina or risk taking additional damage.
Learn from mistakes after every failed run while stacking permanent XP and stat boosts, then jump back into battle without fear of losing upgrades or gear.
An exact date for the update hasn’t been provided, but again, it’s planned for sometime next month. As for the game itself, we have more information here.
