Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition ROM

Various reports are circulating that the ROM for Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition has leaked online. This comes about a week ahead of the game’s official launch.

The ROM for this game is leaking is especially notable. While it’s not a completely new title having originally released on Wii U about a decade ago, story does play a fairly integral role. On top of that, Monolith Soft added a brand new chapter that follows the original ending. Given that, it’s especially important to avoid any spoilers that may pop up online if you plan on playing the game.

We won’t get into any leaked details here. However, we are starting to see some noteworthy tidbits out there already. On top of that, it seems that some of the new music has started to surface.

Leaks of first-party Nintendo Switch games are happening pretty regularly at this point. The ROM for Mario & Luigi: Brothershop suffered the same fate a few months ago, for example.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition launches worldwide on March 20, 2025. You can find out about the various additions and improvements made for the game here. There were also some official tidbits shared about the new story straight from Nintendo, which we covered here.

Thanks to the Xenoblade subreddit for today’s news.
