Another Crab’s Treasure reveals “Year of the Crab” update, Nintendo Switch physical release
April 7: We’ve got a double dose of news for Another Crab’s Treasure – the game is announcing a “Year of the Crab” update today plus a Nintendo Switch physical release.
The update is initially dropping on April 21, but it’ll land on Nintendo’s console soon after. It features a New Game Plus mode, new upgrades and unlocks, new costumes for Kril, and a boss rush mode.
Aggro Crab’s Caelan Pollock said today: “New Game Plus is by FAR the most requested from the community ever since we launched Another Crab’s Treasure, and the response to the game has been so overwhelming that we thought we might as well! We could have lazily scaled up enemy stats and called it a day, but we’re built different, so we added new moves to bosses, some new items, and oh yeah, remixed almost every enemy encounter in the game. Hope you all enjoy, and thank you SO SO much for all the support on this game! We’re excited to show you what’s next as soon as it’s ready! It won’t be long now…”
Below is a trailer for the update:
