Game Builder Tycoon coming to Nintendo Switch this week

Game Builder Tycoon is making its way to Nintendo Switch this week, PlayWay has announced. It’s due out on May 7, 2025.

Game Builder Tycoon allows you to simulate the wide field of the game industry. Players can take up anything from the development aspects, to the business aspects of the industry.  The game is developed by AM Playhouse and published by PlayWay S.A.

Here’s some more information about the game:

Create and sell games, gain fame and wealth, research new technologies, hire employees, improve your office, manage taxes and payroll, take out loans if necessary and compete with 5000 companies. Experience the thrill of running your own studio in Game Builder Tycoon.

Design outstanding games by selecting key elements such as art, features, quests, dialogue, music, level and world design. Assign tasks to characters, choose genre, theme, platform, game size, art style, point of view and features. Market your game and create sequels.

Choose your character and define his or her role, whether as a coder or an artist. Each character has three attributes: IQ, creativity and insight, which influence six skills: technical, art, writing, design, music and marketing. Create a unique character. As you progress, hire more employees and continually train yourself and your team in a variety of ways.

Discover new genres, themes, devices, game sizes, art styles, features, viewpoints and marketing strategies. With over 60 unlockable elements, the possibilities are endless for creating your next hit games.
