Nintendo Switch 2 improves one of Switch 1’s worst ports ever
As fans continue to test out various Nintendo Switch games on Switch 2, it’s now come to light that WWE 2K18 – one of the previous system’s worst ports – is dramatically improved on the new console.
One of the biggest issues surrounding the game was performance. In just about every area, there were significant struggles. WWE 2K18 attempted to hit 30 frames per second on Nintendo Switch, but that just didn’t happen. Also, rather than skipping frames, the action itself would slow down. Needless to say, it wasn’t a good experience.
What’s interesting is that now on Nintendo Switch 2, WWE 2K18 is finally playable. The frame rate issues have been ironed out thanks to more powerful hardware. It doesn’t fix bugs that were already present such as Shawn Michaels’ DX entrance in which he doesn’t show up and there isn’t any music, but this is a much better product than it was originally.

A number of other Nintendo Switch games also automatically run better on Switch 2. Another example is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which features significantly better load times and lag reduction. You can check this out further here.
