Bullet hell action game Parry Nightmare comes to Nintendo Switch this month

Parry Nightmare has just been announced for a Nintendo Switch release later this month. The game is to release on June 25 on the eShop.

Parry Nightmare is a bullet hell action game developed by Kakukaku Games and published by Phoenixx. The game originally released last year on Steam, and follows the protagonist trying to make her way through a nightmare.

Here’s some more information about the game:

Easy to pick up, and hard to put down! Parry Nightmare is a one-of-a-kind “parry heaven” action game where the best offense is a good defense!
Team up with your “other self”, Honno-chan, as you parry, pummel and pulse your way out of your darkest nightmare in this one-of-a-kind “parry heaven” action game!

Use your nightmare’s strength against it with your trusty parry move! Stun foes, send away projectiles, and stop threats right in their tracks by chaining parries!

Honno-chan will defeat any foes you stun automatically. Leave them to her and focus on the defense!

Parrying grants your soul more and more courage to face the night! Heal up by continuing to parry! Spend excess soul to unleash a powerful Burst move to wipe out hordes of enemies at once!

Collect powerups from rare foes to supercharge Honno-chan! Breathe fire, deploy orbital pain, wreak havoc, and more!

Defeated enemies drop light. Collect light and the darkness of the nightmare abates, giving you a clearer view of the chaos. Max out your light meter to beat the nightmare!
