Strategy X is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch

We’ve got the latest Arcade Archives announcement from Hamster with the company revealing Strategy X as its latest release. A worldwide release is set for tomorrow, June 19.

Konami was behind the original launch of Strategy X, which took place in 1981. The vertical shooter has players taking control of a tank.

Strategy X is a tank-based shooting game released by Konami in 1981. Move the direction of artillery fire left and right to defeat enemies and replenish fuel while progressing through the stages. Aim to destroy the Immortalian waiting at the deepest part.

The “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
