Report claims Stellar Blade is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Although there have been no official announcements at this time, a new report claims that Shift Up is planning a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade.
The site claims that a port is now in development. Stellar Blade started out as a PlayStation 5 game, but is no longer exclusive to the console following a recent PC release.
Studios don’t often comment on speculation, though PlayForum did hear from Shift Up that “nothing is confirmed” regarding Stellar Blade 2 on Nintendo Switch 2. However, the statement added that the company is “reviewing various possibilities internally.” PlayForum celebrated the game selling three million copies by gifting all of its employees Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
One wrinkle with Stellar Blade concerns the publisher. Sony Interactive Entertainment was behind both the PlayStation 5 and PC versions, but it’s unclear if that would happen with a potential Nintendo Switch 2 version as well. Last year, LEGO Horizon Adventures came to Nintendo Switch through “PlayStation Publishing”.
