Octodad finally seeing Nintendo Switch physical release

It’s taken a few years, but Octodad: Dadliest Catch is receiving the physical release treatment on Nintendo Switch.

The game appeared on the console way back in 2017. Now after several years as a digital title, Limited Run Games is preparing a boxed version. There aren’t plans for any special editions, but we’ll take what we can get.

Here’s an overview of the game for those that need a refresher:

Octodad is a game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human. Octodad’s existence is a struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy tentacles while keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family.
