Super Basketball is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch
Confirmed today, Arcade Archives Super Basketball is gearing up for an imminent Nintendo Switch launch. A worldwide release is planned for tomorrow, July 17.
It goes without saying, but this is a sports game. Konami came out with this one way back in 1984.
Here’s the official rundown, courtesy of Hamster:
Super Basketball is a sports game released by Konami in 1984. There are 10 competing teams. Every match starts at a disadvantage. Use skillful dribbling and passing to turn the tide and aim to win within the time limit.
The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores. Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
