Nintendo just put out a launch trailer for Donkey Kong Bananza, which celebrates the new release. Those interested in the title can get a final look at the 3D action platformer.
A bunch of information can be found in the following overview:
Donkey Kong Bananza is a brand-new 3D platforming action adventure starring Donkey Kong and a talented young singer named Pauline, featuring (literal) ground-breaking gameplay, a host of powerful transformations, and plenty of ways to cut loose and unleash your inner Kong. Join the pair as they delve deep underground – and discover that this subterranean world is a lot more than it seems on the surface. Uncover environments such as arid canyons, lush forests and frigid tundra as you peel back the world’s Layers on your way to the Planet Core.
The unlikely duo’s journey won’t be a banana cake walk, though, because standing in their way is the villainous Void Company. This nefarious mining operation has a reach that extends through every Layer of the planet, and has its sights on the Planet Core, too. Donkey Kong and Pauline will have to use all of their abilities and work together to barrel through the challenges facing them in this rollicking adventure!
Key Features
- Use Donkey Kong’s powerful abilities to explore the vast Underground World by smashing your way through it! Crash through obstacles and enemies, and even unearth discoveries and collectibles – the more you bash, the more areas open up to you.
- Pauline can use her singing to empower Donkey Kong, transforming him into forms with distinct abilities. Make DK super strong with Kong Bananza, make him faster with Zebra Bananza and he can even glide for short periods with Ostrich Bananza!
- Explore with a friend in two player co-op. Play as Donkey Kong and engage in some constructive destruction to create a path or open up new areas, while another player can play as Pauline and unleash her vocal blasts.
- Players can also use GameShare1 to play in co-op with another player locally (with two Nintendo Switch 2 systems, or a Nintendo Switch 2 system hosting for a Nintendo Switch system) even if they don’t have the game themselves. Additionally, it’s possible to invite friends who have a Nintendo Switch 2 with GameChat2 to join an online play session via voice or video chat.
