Ubisoft teases unannounced Nintendo Switch 2 game
Ubisoft reported its latest financial results this week, and during a financial call, an unannounced Nintendo Switch 2 game was teased.
The publisher was speaking about its lineup over the next few months. Star Wars Outlaws is the only Nintendo Switch 2 game that Ubisoft has officially revealed, but there seems to be something else on the way. Ubisoft has a couple of mystery titles in the pipeline, and one of these will be coming to Nintendo’s new console.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said during the call:
“Beyond the announced releases, we will have a couple of other titles to announce. What we can say is that it’s going to be paid contents of strong quality and we also have a game that will launch on the Switch 2.”
Guillemot didn’t share any additional information. One possibility for Ubisoft’s unannounced Nintendo Switch 2 game is Assassin’s Creed Shadows. A port of the title was previously rumored, and following that speculation, an official rating surfaced back in April.
Something that Guillemot also said during the call is that Ubisoft is planning “some new versions that will come on other machines” while speaking about Assassin’s Creed Shadows. It’s hard to imagine what he could be referring to other than Nintendo Switch 2.
We’ll let you know when that mystery game is officially announced. Find additional Nintendo Switch 2 news here.
