Resident Evil Requiem seems to be cheaper on Nintendo Switch 2

There’s an interesting tidbit about the newly-revealed Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem, which is that it looks like this version will be cheaper compared to other consoles.

Capcom just announced plans to bring the horror game over to Nintendo’s latest platform during a Direct last week. Retailers have now started putting up listings – which gives us a look at the price point.

Over on Amazon UK, we see that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem is listed for £60. To compare, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are currently priced at £70. This is interesting as we haven’t really seen something like this on Nintendo Switch 2 so far. As far as we know Requiem will be the same experience on Nintendo’s console.

It’s definitely an interesting move from Capcom. Perhaps the publisher felt that a lower price point makes sense since some of the graphical bells and whistles won’t be present on Nintendo Switch 2. You can see an early graphics comparison with the PS5 version here.

Resident Evil Requiem launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, 2026.
