Psyvariar 3 announced for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Today, Success Corporation and Red Art Games unveiled Psyvariar 3 for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The two sides did not provide launch timing.

Psyvariar 3 celebrates the series’ 25th anniversary. This is actually the first brand-new numbered entry in the series in 22 years.

Following the release of Psyvariar Delta from City Connection in August 2018, Psyvariar 3 marks the first brand-new numbered entry in the series in 22 years.

The series’ trademark BUZZ System returns in Psyvariar 3. By grazing enemy bullets, your ship levels up—a system that once took the arcade shoot ’em up scene by storm. This latest entry evolves the exhilarating, high-intensity bullet-hell experience even further.

Alongside new original characters such as Naomi and G.Net, guest characters from other titles also join the fray, for a total of seven playable characters. Each character pilots a unique ship with its own shots and bombs, offering a strategic and dazzling shoot ’em up experience.

Psyvariar 3 is developed by French studio Red Art Games, delivering a high-quality and thrilling shoot ’em up experience to players worldwide.
