Best-selling games of September 2025 in the U.S. on Nintendo platforms

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of September 2025 specifically on Nintendo platforms.

While it’s technically an October game, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 actually comes out on top since the reporting period ends on October 4. Other new games include Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles at #2 and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at #4.

Here’s the full list of best-sellers on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch for September 2025:

1. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 – Nintendo
2. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles – Square Enix
3. Donkey Kong Bananza – Nintendo
4. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – SEGA
5. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – Marvelous
6. Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo
7. EA Sports FC 26 – EA
8. Hogwarts Legacy – Warner Bros. Games
9. Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo
