Skinwalker, a side-scrolling action platformer, announced for Nintendo Switch

Publisher Team17 and developer Sismo Games today announced a new partnership for Skinwalker, which will have the game land on Nintendo Switch. The title is lined up for a 2026 debut.

Skinwalker is a side-scrolling action platformer. In the game, you’ll play a weary scientist who is forced to give us his own humanity in order to save his daughter.

A mysterious being is held captive within your father’s research center. You swear an allegiance to this formidable beast in a desperate attempt to save your daughter from a terminal illness. Forge symbiosis with the creature in exchange for its freedom and the promise of a cure.

Navigate the research facility as an unassuming scientist, interacting with coworkers and the environment to gather information and release the beast. Shapeshift into the beast’s monstrous form to traverse air ducts and blood brawl your way through soldiers and other creatures in the lab.

A father faced with a heart-wrenching situation requires acts of desperation and sacrifice. Release the beast inside and save your daughter through any means possible.
