Bang! Bang! Bandits – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition announced for Japan
Nippon Columbia has just announced that Bang! Bang! Bandits will receive a Nintendo Switch 2 edition. this version of the game will launch in Japan on March 19, 2026.
Bang! Bang! Bandits is a motion controlled based rail-shooter that released last year for the original Nintendo Switch in Japan. The upgrade, priced at 500 yen, plans to bring local and online game share, as well as better performance allowing for up to 4k 60fps gameplay, or 1440p 120 fps gameplay. It also seems that the title will be fully on the cart as indicated by the box art above. Japanese, English, Korean, traditional Chinese, and Simplied Chinese language options are supported by both versions of the game.

Bandits is a completely original gun shooting game that, while preserving the tension and exhilaration of the classic gun shooting game genre, features simple rules and controls, bright pop-style characters, and an easy-to-understand world, allowing people of all ages to play with peace of mind.

- Packed with Fun Across 12 Stages and Two Leagues – The game features 12 distinct stages set in environments such as a jungle, city, ruins, and caves. After clearing all stages in the standard-difficulty “Normal League,” the max-difficulty “Wild League” awaits!
- Unique Enemy Characters Wreak Havoc All Over the Screen – As you defeat enemies called “Goomins” that rain down on you one after another, make your way to the end of each stage, where a brutal boss awaits!
- Enjoy Two Gameplay Styles with Challenge Mode and Battle Modes – In “Challenge Mode,” you start from lower-level stages and work your way up to the most difficult ones. You can play solo or in a team of two to four players, cooperating with family and friends to clear each stage. Additionally, two to four players can compete for the high score in “Single Battle” (individual play), or two teams of two players each can face off in “Team Battle.”
