New gameplay trailer released for Kingdom’s Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster

Inti Creates has released more information on Kingdom’s Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster. The title is set for launch for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on April 23, 2026.

Introducing the Nitty Gritty of Gameplay

Accept Missions
To solve the mystery behind the kingdom’s ruin, take on missions and set off for adventure! Explore the world, and you’ll see monsters roaming around. You can either avoid them or seek out battles aggressively. Contact a monster and you’ll start a battle. Clean up the foes to finish the fight. You might even pick up some materials while you’re at it.

Dungeons
When you find your objective, you’ll need to plunge into a dungeon. Defeating enemies will earn you experience points, raising the level of your adventurer. Leveling up will increase your parameters and make you stronger. You’ll also earn CP to spend on your Class Circle to unlock new abilities! Succeed on your mission, and you can take your hard earned materials home with you safely.

Restoration Part
Use the materials you’ve gathered to build structures and restore the kingdom. Even from a lowly start, adventurers will get stronger and
stronger by restoring their kingdom and adventuring. Raise your levels on missions, then set out on new adventures! Depending on how you build the kingdom and take on requests from residents,
you can even change the ending of the story!

Adventure System
Leveling Up
Defeat enemies in action stages, earning experience points to level up.
You’ll earn Class Points (CP) when leveling up, used to strengthen your characters.

Class Circle
Each character has a unique Class Circle where you’ll unlock new skills and features. You’ll need Class Points to unlock items in the Class Circle, earned when leveling up. You’ll start in the middle, and can unlock abilities connected by the shining lines. These abilities are broken down into four types: Passive, Action, Skill, and Bonus. Before using a Skill, you’ll need to assign it to a button on your controller.
