Nintendo Today 2.4.0 update out now, patch notes

A new version 2.4.0 update has now been made available for the Nintendo Today app. This is rolling out now for iOS and Android users.

The update includes a new size to the calendar widget. That’s the big thing here this time around.

Here’s the official notice:

Nintendo Today version 2.4.0 update patch notes

• Added a new size to the calendar widget.
  • We’ve added a compact size equivalent to four icons to the daily rotating calendar widgets featuring various characters.

Something not highlighted in the patch notes is that Tomodachi Life has been added as a game series users can set that they’re interested in. Additionally, users can now filter News and Browsing History by Tomodachi Life.
