Action adventure game Tad: The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet coming to Switch

A video game adaptation of Tad: The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet is coming to Switch, Gammera Nest has announced. A release is planned for 2022.
The upcoming game is based on the movie of the same name, which is slated for later in the year. It’s an action adventure title with both 2.5D and 3D gameplay. Players will visit locations such as Paris, Veracruz, Chicago, and El Cairo while attempting to retrieve the emerald tablet and saving friends along the way. Expect platforming sections, climbing buildings, and swimming among piranhas. There are also lost relics and comic books to find and brushes to collect plus puzzles to solve.
As for the story, during one of Tad’s expeditions, he unleashes an ancient curse and now some of his friends have fallen under a wicked spell. He’ll have to go on a new adventure to save them as well as the world while also solving an ancient mystery that pursues him.
