Publisher Gammera Nest, along with developer Guarida Games, today confirmed that they’ll be releasing Kittengumi: Sakabato’s Thief on Switch. A launch window was not provided.

Kittengumi: Sakabato’s Thiefis a visual novel that takes place in an alternative Japan known as Gapon. The protagonists – a cat and a panda who thinks he is a cat – will need to find the thief of the sakabato, one of the treasures of the Kittengumi.

Tad The Lost Explorer: Craziest and Madness Edition

Original (5/18): Publisher Selecta Play and developer Gammera Nest have announced that Tad The Lost Explorer: Craziest and Madness Edition is bound for Switch. A release is planned for July 7, 2023.

Tad The Lost Explorer: Craziest and Madness Edition is a 2D action adventure game inspired by the animated movie Tad The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet. The story is presented with comic book-style cutscenes.

The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo physical

Meridiem Games has announced The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo for physical release on Switch with two different versions.

The company will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and European distribution of both boxed editions. First up is the Fantabulous Edition, which will contain an exclusive Mr. Coo character keychain housed in an exclusively designed case with exclusive artwork for each platform. Also planned is the Coollector Edition, which will not only include the Mr. Coo character keychain and exclusive artwork case for each platform, but also adds a unique flipbook with two exclusive animated stories, a mystery watercolor by artist Nacho Rodriguez, a puzzle featuring the pieces of Mr. Coo, an artist’s book showcasing the creative process behind the art and finally a cultured 7” vinyl single with the music of the game composed by Julie Reier, all inside a spectacular collector’s box.

Tad: The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet

A video game adaptation of Tad: The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet is coming to Switch, Gammera Nest has announced. A release is planned for 2022.

The upcoming game is based on the movie of the same name, which is slated for later in the year. It’s an action adventure title with both 2.5D and 3D gameplay. Players will visit locations such as Paris, Veracruz, Chicago, and El Cairo while attempting to retrieve the emerald tablet and saving friends along the way. Expect platforming sections, climbing buildings, and swimming among piranhas. There are also lost relics and comic books to find and brushes to collect plus puzzles to solve.
