Adventure game Island of Winds announced for Switch
Today, publisher ESDigital Games and developer Parity Games confirmed that they’re working on Island of Winds for Switch. It will be available in 2025.
Island of Winds is an adventure game in which players will experience the story of Brynhildur, a Balance Keeper who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Extensive lore and intriguing puzzles, legendary creatures, spellcasting and a special focus on empathy encounters are included.

Island of Winds is an adventure game set in a stunning environment inspired by 17th century Iceland, drawing upon its nature, folklore, and history. Upon the abduction of her mentor and an attack on her homestead, Brynhildur the Balance Keeper must go on a journey of discovery.
The core gameplay involves spellcasting, intriguing puzzles, fantastical lore, and a special focus on approaching encounters with empathy. Island of Winds features a semi-open world environment that explores themes of self-doubt, violence, regret and empathy, as well as the conservation of nature.
