Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Asassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy has been cancelled. The company revealed the news during a financial results conference call earlier today. Ubisoft made the decision in September 2010, so the game must not have been in development for too long. Instead of Lost Legacy, Ubisoft is preparing other releases such as… “Image” and “Petz” games. Great.

Although the title is no more, elements of the project have made it into a different Assassin’s Creed. Writer Darby McDevitt said last week that Lost Legacy “kind of morphed into” Revelations.
