New data rounded up by GSD has revealed the best-selling games of 2024 in Europe.
EA Sports FC 25 took home the big prize last year. It’s worth noting though that sales fell 5 percent compared to the performance of EA Sports FC 24 during the same period.
Only six new games appeared in the top twenty, compared to 2023’s ten. Super Mario Party Jamboree was one of those titles, coming in at #18 despite launching at the end of the year (and Nintendo doesn’t report digital data).
There was also a resurgence of older games. For example, It Takes Two lands at #9 with sales increasing by 39 percent compared to 2023. And of course, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here at #12.

We’ll also mention one more detail concerning hardware. Nintendo Switch sales fell by 15 percent, but as the console only continues to become older, that shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
