Blizzard tweet has fans speculating about Diablo possibly coming to Switch

Blizzard tweeted out a brief video yesterday that is now beginning to make the rounds online. The clip is only six seconds long, showing a nightlight “switching” on and off.

Here’s the tweet in question:

The clip alone is causing speculation that Blizzard is teasing Diablo for Switch. As we tend to be cautious, we’d advise getting too excited for the time being. Turning the light on and off could be a reason to connect this to Switch, though on the other hand, it’s possible that we’re dealing with an innocent tweet.

One interesting suggestion brought up is that rather than hinting at something for Nintendo’s console, the Diablo light is possessed by the Soulstone. Even when you turn it off, it’ll come back on and acts as something evil to give you nightmares. Still, speculation has persisted. We do have to again say that our first instincts tell us to not read too deeply into the tweet, but many would certainly be thrilled to see Diablo appearing on Switch.
