Borderlands 4 reveals Nintendo Switch 2 release date

Just a short while ago, 2K and Gearbox shared the release date for Borderlands 4 on Nintendo Switch 2. The game launches on October 3, 2025.

The wait for Borderlands 4 on Nintendo Switch 2 won’t be terribly long compared to other platforms. The initial launch is happening on September 12, so it’s about a month extra.

Cross-play will be supported. That means Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to play online with those on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via co-op.
