Bud Spencer & Terence Hill – Slaps and Beans 2 release date set for September, new trailer
Trinity Team, Buddy Productions, and ININ Games have nailed down a release date for Bud Spencer & Terence Hill – Slaps and Beans 2. The game arrives for Switch on September 22, 2023.
It’s been about a year since the Switch version was confirmed. Originally, the plan was to have it out in Spring 2023, but something changed along the way. Regardless, it’s finally coming out next month.
Here’s an official overview:
This new action-packed escapade starts precisely where the last one ended but with new, enhanced features. First of all, the game features an overhauled and implemented combat system, which allows more articulated combinations and a personalized brawling experience. The peculiarities of each character have also been implemented, focusing on their signature abilities and strengths. In addition, there will be different types of enemies as well as environmental elements or situations that will make the combat more varied. And, of course, tons of new minigames, which will be replayable in a dedicated party game section, with the possibility of challenging up to four players simultaneously!
Another big difference from the first chapter will be the voiceovers: by popular demand from the fans community, the cutscenes will not only be narrated by animated characters but also dubbed in Italian, German, Spanish, and English.
For example, among the Italian dubbers, Terence’s voice will be that of the great Michele Gammino, Harrison Ford’s official voice actor and, above all, the last person to have voiced Terence in the last three Bud and Terence films.
