Nintendo will be hosting a pair of important events at E3 2014 next month.

The first, taking place on Tuesday (7 – 8:30 PM PT / 10 – 11:30 PM ET), will be dedicated to the new Super Smash Bros. games. Masahiro Sakurai will be in attendance, of course.

The one on Wednesday (6 – 7:30 PM PT / 9 – 10:30 PM ET) is certainly more mysterious. Nintendo plans to discuss some sort of new 3DS game. No one knows what that one is about at the moment!

Nintendo is starting to send out a new StreetPass Mii Plaza visitor to 3DS owners. It’s none other than Reggie “Fils-a-Mech” (FILSAMECH), who reminds fans about Nintendo’s upcoming E3 Digital Event on June 10.

Reggie Fils-a-Mech is none other than Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime of course, but, well… it’s complicated. Just watch Nintendo’s E3 2014 announcement video and all should become clear!

Ubisoft support for Nintendo platforms appears to be in steep decline. In its latest financial report for example, the company makes mention of Wii U only once, and that’s for Child of Light – a game already available. On 3DS, Ubisoft hasn’t had a major release in quite a long time.

In the previous financial year, Wii U accounted for only 3 percent of Ubisoft’s overall sales. 3DS was even worse – in large part due to a lack of games – coming in at 0 percent. Wii was the only platform to make a decent dent having contributed 11 percent.

What kind of Nintendo support can we expect from Ubisoft in the future? Well, Watch Dogs is still coming to Wii U. A new Just Dance will likely be made for both Wii U and Wii as well. Aside from these games though, nothing appears to be on the horizon sadly.
