Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii
This week’s DLC offerings come courtesy of a quintessential modern metal band, and Rock Band fan-favorites, Slipknot. As the band celebrates the 10th anniversary of their 2001 release Iowa with an upcoming 2CD/DVD reissue, we join in the celebration by releasing 4 tracks spanning their epic catalog!
“Wait and Bleed” kicks off the pack from their first record, 1999’s eponymous Slipknot, quickly followed by “Left Behind” from Iowa. These tracks are joined by “Pulse of the Maggots” from Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), released in 2004 and the ballad “Snuff” from their most recent studio release, 2009’s All Hope is Gone. Every studio release from the band is represented in this 4-pack and it makes for a raucous retrospective!
As always, songs available as downloadable content for Rock Band 3 feature five-button guitar and bass parts, drums, Pro Drums, and keys, Pro Keys and harmonies, where applicable. Some songs also feature Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades available for an additional $0.99 upgrade download.

Rodea the Sky Soldier is finished, up to Kadokawa to publish, no Wii U version planned
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii, Wii U | 0 comments
You remember Rodea the Sky Soldier, right? It was that very promising NiGHTS-like game that was set for a dual-release on Wii and 3DS.
Although we haven’t heard anything about the project since it was announced earlier this year, development has progressed well. In fact, Yuji Naka has said that the title is complete “for awhile now.”
“Rodea the Sky Soldier has been finished for awhile now. My part at Prope has been done. Now it’s up to Kadokawa Games to decide on the release strategy whether it will be come out for North America, Europe, and Japan.”
Naka was also asked about a possible Wii U version. At this time he explained why there are no plans for that:
“It’s finished as Wii title and as of now we have no plans to bring it to Wii U. Rodea was made specifically for the Wii so players could enjoy it by flicking the remote. If we tried to incorporate those controls into the large Wii U controller it wouldn’t be the same. I would really like for people to play and enjoy it on the Wii as I had originally intended.”
